Abstract:
Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common chronic neurobehavioral problems encountered in pediatric practices today. It affects approximately 3% to 5% of the school-aged population and as many as 3.5 million American youngsters. This review article addresses possible etiologies for ADHD, as well as diagnostic criteria and evaluation and treatment modalities.
