Workplace trends and their implications for nurses

At the third meeting of the ICN Workforce Forum, participants from 12 countries confirmed that the work environment in the health sector is rapidly changing and that national nurses' associations (NNAs) must be prepared to identify trends and develop strategies to address their implications for nurses. (See also INR, 44, 6, 1997.) Below a summary of their discussions.
