N-acetyl transferase 1: two polymorphisms in coding sequence identified in colorectal cancer patients

Genetic variations in N-acetyltransferase (NAT1) genes are linked to colorectal cancer risk. This study found NAT1 polymorphisms are infrequent and not independently associated with cancer, though NAT1 and NAT2 gene variations show non-random associations.
