Summary

Complete surgical excision is the optimal treatment for childhood hemangiopericytoma (HPC). Other therapies showed limited efficacy, but congenital HPC cases had a better prognosis. This finding is crucial for pediatric oncology.

Background:

Hemangiopericytoma (HPC) is a rare pediatric tumor.
This study focuses on 5 children diagnosed with histologically confirmed HPC.
