Summary

Phosphoric acid concentration and treatment time affect 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA) movement through dentin. Higher acid concentrations and shorter times increased HEMA diffusion, except for 37% acid for 60 seconds, which unexpectedly reduced it.
