Summary

Norepinephrine (NE) levels significantly increased during autonomic dysreflexia (AD) hypertension in spinal cord injured rats. Chemical sympathectomy using 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OH DA) effectively blocked these elevated NE levels during AD.
