Freeze-drying of some strains of biotechnological interest (Aureobasidium pullulans)

Optimal freeze-drying conditions for Aureobasidium pullulans were investigated. Protective substances were used to compensate for the stress reported during freezing (gelatin, calf serum) and desiccation (saccharose, raffinose, trehalose), used in different combinations.
