Background:

Multilocular liver lesions can stem from various diseases.
Pasteurella multocida is a bacterium typically causing benign infections.

Observation:

A 7-year-old girl presented with chronic fever, mesenteric lymphadenopathy, and numerous hepatic lesions.
Imaging revealed small liver lesions and enlarged lymph nodes.

Findings:

Histopathology confirmed pyogenic granulomas in the liver.
Serologic tests identified Pasteurella multocida as the causative agent.
This is the first reported case of hepatic and lymph node Pasteurella multocida foci in a child.

Pasteurella multocida should be considered in the differential diagnosis of pediatric lymphogranulomatous diseases with hepatic involvement.

Early diagnosis and treatment with antibiotics like tetracycline and corticosteroids can be effective.
