Summary
Intracardiac ectopic thyroid is an extremely rare condition. This case report details a successful surgical removal of an intracardiac tumor composed of thyroid tissue in a Mexican patient.

- Surgical resection of the tumor created a septal defect, which was successfully repaired using a Dacron patch.
- Two-year follow-up revealed normal echocardiographic findings, excellent clinical condition, and stable thyroid function.

- This case highlights the possibility of ectopic thyroid tissue presenting as an intracardiac tumor.
- Successful surgical management and long-term follow-up are feasible for this rare condition.
