Dentistry for the 21st century: laser technology

Lasers hve been used experimentally for nearly 40 years. Most applications in dentistry maintain use in oral and periodontal pathology. The use of lasers as an adjunct therapy in a general dental practice has recently been considered within the last 5 years. This article will consist of a literature review of the most recent applications in a clinical dental practice.
