Hand care. Review in practice

Hand care practices have been looked at critically by a number of researchers over recent years, and it has become clear that many practitioners do not have access to the latest information. This problem is compounded by difficulties in self-assessment: the differences between individuals' perceptions of their practices and the observations of independent assessors have been noted. Before attempting to go forward and take any necessary action, though, the practitioner has to know where he or she is at the moment.
