This study found no significant procedural outcome differences between compliant (polyolefin copolymer) and non-compliant (polyethylene terapthelate) balloons during percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Both balloon types demonstrated similar success rates and complication profiles in patients undergoing single-lesion treatment.
