Angiomyofibroblastoma--a rare but distinct entity

Summary

A rare angiomyofibroblastoma of the vulva was diagnosed in a 23-year-old woman. This case, the first reported from the Caribbean, highlights the distinct features, diagnosis, and prognosis of this vulvar tumor.

Background:

Angiomyofibroblastoma (AMF) is a rare, benign mesenchymal tumor.
These tumors typically occur in the female genital tract, most commonly the vulva.

Observation:

A case of vulvar angiomyofibroblastoma in a 23-year-old woman is presented.
The clinical, histological, and immunohistochemical characteristics of the tumor were analyzed.

Findings:

The case presented with typical features of angiomyofibroblastoma.
Differential diagnosis and prognosis were discussed based on literature review.
This is the first reported case from the Caribbean region.
