[A study of tracheal defect repair in rabbits with collagen-hydroxylapatite]
Abstract:
An artificial material composed of collagen-Hydroxylapatite (C-HA) was used to repair the tracheal defect of rabbits. There was no reaction, no absorption and no particle detachment after the C-HA was implanted. We also found that the tracheal mucosa could grow over the surface of C-HA. The result suggested that the C-HA can be used as a material for repairing the tracheal defect of the tracheostenosis.
