Twenty-nine percent of women regain ovarian function after autologous bone marrow transplantation (ABMT). Younger age at transplantation is a key predictor of ovarian recovery, while total-body irradiation (TBI) may negatively impact function.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To determine the frequency of return of ovarian function following ABMT.
  • To identify major factors predicting ovarian function recovery in women post-ABMT.
