Summary

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are a significant concern in Mongolia, with high rates of gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis found in a Ulaanbaatar clinic. Urgent control efforts are needed to prevent potential human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) emergence.
