Summary

Juxtaglomerular cell tumors are rare renal neoplasms. This report details the first documented case of a juxtaglomerular cell tumor presenting without hypertension, challenging previous understandings of this rare condition.

Background:

  • Juxtaglomerular cell tumors (JGCTs) are rare neoplasms arising from the juxtaglomerular apparatus of the kidney.
  • Historically, JGCTs have been strongly associated with significant hypertension due to renin hypersecretion.
