Abstract:
The article gives an analysis of an experience with performing hernioplasty in 68 patients aged 40-78 years with recurrent inguinal hernias operated upon by an original method developed by the author. Complications in the wound were noted in 4 patients only. Recurrent hernias appearing in 1-5 years after the reconstructive operation made by the proposed method were detected in 1 from 52 examined patients.
