Abstract:
A severely resorbed maxilla was reconstructed utilizing a combined surgical technique that included the placement of a horseshoe-shaped bicortical calvarium onlay graft, fixed by six endosseous implants. Two more implants were placed in the pterygoid process to support and stabilize the prosthesis. The dentition was rehabilitated with a fixed implant-supported hybrid prosthesis.
