Abstract:
A total of 84 pediatric patients who ranged from 4 to 14 years old were examined. Of these, 12 were patients with acute nonobstructive pyelonephritis, 44 had chronic obstructive pyelonephritis in the remission period. Children with pyelonephritis demonstrated depressed migration of mononuclear phagocytes as per aseptic inflammatory skin test. In children with acute pyelonephritis there have been established correlations between parameters characterizing the functional activity of mononuclears. There were no such correlations in patients with chronic obstructive pyelonephritis, which fact suggests to us a decompensation in this link of immunity.
