Summary

Continuous cholecystokinin (CCK) receptor agonist CCK-4 infusion impaired short-term memory recall and recognition in healthy volunteers. Psychomotor performance remained unaffected, suggesting CCK-4 negatively influences memory consolidation and retrieval processes.
