    Summary

    This study examined discoid menisci in five children, noting common pain and limited extension. Post-operative arthrography revealed regenerated menisci, similar to adult outcomes.

    Background:

    • Discoid meniscus is a congenital anomaly of the knee.
    • It can cause pain, clicking, and limited range of motion in children.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To describe the surgical findings and outcomes in children with discoid menisci.
    • To investigate associated anatomical variations.
    • To evaluate the meniscal regeneration after surgical treatment.

    • Surgical case series of five children undergoing meniscectomy for discoid meniscus.
