Serum concentrations and side effects in psychiatric patients during risperidone therapy

Serum concentrations of risperidone and its active metabolite, 9-hydroxyrisperidone, varied widely among patients. A therapeutic range for risperidone is not established, but levels between 50-150 nmol/l were observed in most patients on 6 mg/day.
