Background:

  • CD31 is a well-established marker for endothelial differentiation in soft tissue neoplasms.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the expression of CD31 in a broad spectrum of neoplasms, specifically focusing on carcinomas and mesotheliomas.
  • To evaluate the diagnostic utility of CD31 as an endothelial marker in challenging cases.

  • Applied anti-CD31 (JC70/A) immunohistochemistry to 290 characterized neoplasms.
