Summary

Multiple myeloma, a cancer affecting plasma cells, can present with ear pain (otalgia) as an initial symptom. Early diagnosis and treatment, including radiation and chemotherapy, can lead to remission.

  • Otalgia can be an early, presenting symptom of multiple myeloma.
  • Considering multiple myeloma in patients with temporal bone masses is crucial for timely diagnosis and management.
