Abstract:
Pulmonary diseases, including opportunistic and bacterial infections, lymphoproliferative disorders, and neoplasia, substantially contribute to morbidity and mortality in HIV-infected children. Current treatment modalities are largely successful and thus justify invasive aetiological diagnostic procedures.
