Published on: February 2, 2020
Abstract:
In summary, the Internet is a marvellous communication tool that definitely has a place in dentistry, however, the same degree of caution and similar criteria should be applied to evaluating information and data from Internet sources as it is applied to evaluating material in more traditional forms such as books and journals. Dentistry has always been considered a "hands-on" personal touch profession that has shied away from computerization. By utilizing all that modern technology offers us, we are better able to care for our clients, maintain and upgrade our skills and improve the quality of care we offer. This new tool can serve us well as we work with our clients to develop a successful partnership in their oral care.
