Abstract:
Increasingly, clinicians are reading literature concerning group interventions that examine group influences on the emotional well-being and survival of cancer patients. This article focuses on reviewing the literature of randomized controlled trials (RCT) reported to examine survival rates among cancer patients involved in group interventions; it highlights some of the limitations seen in these past studies and suggests issues that researchers may need to consider in the future.
