Summary

Computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA) shows high sensitivity but low specificity in predicting in-vitro fertilization (IVF) success. However, CASA can help identify couples who may benefit more from intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) over standard IVF.

Background:

  • Computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA) is a tool for evaluating sperm function.
