Summary

Right prefrontal transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) showed greater improvement in mania symptoms compared to left-sided TMS. This suggests TMS may have opposite laterality effects for mania versus depression treatment.

  • Administered daily bilateral prefrontal TMS at 20 Hz for 10 treatment days.
