Abstract:
The consumption of contaminated food products is a common way in which infections may be acquired during travel.1 Many different food products are contaminated with a variety of enteric pathogens.2 Occasionally, the patient will not have traveled to an area where there is contaminated food, but the food will have traveled to the patient. We describe three illnesses associated with the consumption of goat cheese from Mexico. Each patient acquired the cheese in a different way.
