Abstract
Purpose:
This new technique fixes the gracilis tendon to the ischial tuberosity.
Method:
The De Palma stapler was used to fix the gracilis tendon to the ischial tuberosity in five patients undergoing stimulated graciloplasty.
Result:
Successful fixation was achieved in all cases with good follow-up.
Conclusion:
This is a simple method that could be adopted widely to fix the gracilis tendon to the ischial tuberosity.
