    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To develop and validate a new radioimmunoassay (RIA) procedure for determining serum T4 concentrations.
    • To compare the efficacy of RIA with and without direct serum analysis using 8-anilino-1-naphthalene-sulfonic acid (ANS).
