    Area of Science:

    • Urology
    • Vascular Malformations
    • Oncology

    Background:

    • Hemangiomas are rare benign vascular tumors that can occur in the bladder.
    • Gross, total, painless hematuria is a common presenting symptom.

    Observation:

    • A 29-year-old woman presented with recurrent episodes of gross, total, painless hematuria.
    • Urologic studies, including cystoscopy and imaging, were performed to evaluate the cause of hematuria.

    Findings:

    • Diagnostic evaluations confirmed the presence of a bladder hemangioma.
    • A partial cystectomy was performed to surgically excise the tumor.

    Implications:

    • This case highlights the importance of considering bladder hemangioma in the differential diagnosis of recurrent hematuria.
    • Surgical intervention, such as partial cystectomy, can be an effective treatment for symptomatic bladder hemangiomas.
    • Reviewing the literature provides insights into the management of this rare condition.
