Summary

Predicting obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) treatment response is challenging. Pre-treatment event-related potentials (ERPs) abnormalities, specifically reduced N2 amplitude and shorter N2/P3 latencies, may predict medication efficacy in OCD patients.

  • To validate the association between pre-treatment ERPs and treatment response in a larger OCD cohort.

  • Compared ERPs elicited during a verbal auditory 'oddball' paradigm in 21 unmedicated OCD patients and 21 controls.
