Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy of normal saline as a culture medium for Candida.
  • To assess the speed and accuracy of Candida detection using normal saline.
  • To determine if normal saline is a cost-effective alternative to Sabouraud's medium.

  • Vaginal discharge samples from 29 symptomatic patients were cultured.
