Abstract:
Endovascular exclusion could allow safe and successful treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms. It may also be possible to use this technique in patients classed as high risk for conventional open repair. However, it is a new technique which has not been validated in a proper clinical trial. This review aims to outline current thinking in this field and the basis of the procedure.
