Rhythmic movement disorder (RMD) involves repetitive movements during sleep onset. This case study highlights an atypical RMD presentation in a young adult, with successful treatment using imipramine.

Background:

  • Rhythmic movement disorder (RMD), or jactatio capitis nocturna, is a sleep-related disorder in children.
