Area of Science:

  • Endocrinology
  • Surgical Oncology
  • Radiology

Background:

  • Cystic adrenal tumors are uncommon, often discovered incidentally during radiological evaluations.
  • This study reviews the differential diagnosis, management strategies, and controversies surrounding these lesions.

Observation:

  • Two cases of adrenal pseudocysts are presented in women aged 47 and 38.
  • One was an incidental finding, while the other presented with acute pain due to intracystic hemorrhage.

Findings:

  • Both patients underwent surgical excision of cystic adrenal tumors measuring 8.5 x 4.5 cm and 7.5 x 6 cm, respectively.
  • Histopathological examination confirmed adrenal pseudocysts, with one case being hemorrhagic.

Implications:

Related Experiment Videos
