    Summary

    Argon laser therapy can occlude corneal blood vessels. Treating all new corneal vessels, including veins, is recommended for effective vascularization treatment, despite minimal iris damage observed in rabbits.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the efficacy of argon laser therapy in occluding corneal blood vessels.
    • To determine the optimal treatment approach for corneal neovascularization, including arteries and veins.

    • Argon laser treatment (50 µm, 100-150 mW, 0.2 s) was applied to corneal blood vessels in pigmented Dutch rabbits.
    • Fluorescein angiography was used to assess retrograde flow in untreated veins after arterial treatment.
