  • Alternative to percutaneous puncture gastrostomy when impossible
  • Evaluate the efficacy and safety of laparoscopic gastrostomy

  • The surgical procedure averaged 37 minutes and was successful in all patients.

  • Three patients (15%) died within thirty days post-procedure.
