Summary

Fluorodeoxyglucose Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography (FDG SPECT) offers accurate prediction of myocardial recovery post-revascularization. This technique is a cost-effective and convenient alternative to Positron Emission Tomography (PET) for assessing viable heart muscle.

Background:
