Abstract:
A new aporphine alkaloid, (+)-bulbocapnine-beta-N-oxide (1), was isolated from Glaucium fimbrilligerum. Its structure and the stereochemistry at the N-oxide center were determined by spectroscopic methods and confirmed by synthesis.
