    A pediatric case study reports a congenital mastocytoma on an infant's leg. This benign skin tumor resolved spontaneously within one year.

    Background:

    • Mastocytomas are rare cutaneous neoplasms that can occur in infants.
    • Congenital mastocytomas present as solitary or multiple lesions at birth.

    Observation:

    • A four-month-old male infant presented with a single, light brown, tumoral lesion on the antero-internal aspect of the left leg since birth.
    • The lesion measured approximately 3.5 x 2 x 0.8 cm.

    Findings:

    • Pathologic examination confirmed the diagnosis of mastocytoma.
    • The mastocytoma exhibited an uneventful clinical course.

    Implications:

    • Congenital mastocytomas in infants have a high rate of spontaneous regression.
    • This case highlights the benign nature and favorable prognosis of localized infantile mastocytoma.
