    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the effects of maternal aging on mouse oocyte maturation and chromosomal integrity.
    • To analyze age-dependent changes in oocyte yield and meiotic abnormalities.

    • Oocytes from CBA mice aged 2-11 months were cultured to metaphase II.
    • Chromosomal analysis was performed to assess numerical abnormalities.
