- Prostate specific antigen density (PSAD) and prostate volume (PV) are important clinical parameters in prostate disease management.
Purpose of the Study:
- To investigate the relationship between PSAD and PV with MVD in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and advanced prostate carcinoma (PCa).

- Immunohistochemical staining with CD34 was performed on prostate tissue samples.
- MVD, PSAD, and PV were determined in 68 BPH patients and 11 PCa patients.

- In BPH patients, no correlation was found between PSAD and PV or MVD.
