Summary

Estrogen (17beta-estradiol) significantly boosts immunoglobulin (IgG and IgM) production in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). This effect is primarily mediated by increased interleukin-10 (IL-10) from monocytes, suggesting estrogen stimulates humoral immunity.
