I read in your June 1997 publication that one of the risk factors for hip fracture is current use of long-acting benzodiazepines. Could you list exactly which medications these are? I take Xanax and doxepin for fibromyalgia. My pharmacist could find no evidence that either of these drugs depletes bone calcium. How do they place me at increased risk for osteoporosis?C Robb-Nicholson
