Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) can cause isolated neutropenia. Surgical treatment of PHPT led to complete recovery of neutropenia and resolution of recurrent infections in a lymphoma patient. This suggests investigating bone profiles for unexplained neutropenia.
