Resumen
Una nueva especie de Mycobacterium, Mycobacterium genavense, causó una infección diseminada en 18 pacientes con VIH avanzado. Esta bacteria debe considerarse en individuos inmunocomprometidos con fiebre inexplicable y pérdida de peso.
